1970s Rewind: Exploring Fashion's Timeless Rhythms

Welcome back to Vivian Moderna’s blog through the decades! You may remember my blog about the 1960s which you can read below. I maintain the 60s were a decade of fashion change, more so than any other decade. The 60s started with a rigid set of fashion values that transitioned to a much freer way of dressing by the end of the decade. That’s not to say that change wasn’t pivotal in any other decade. As we set our vintage compass to 1970, we find ourselves at the cusp of a new era, marked by cultural shifts and fashion evolution. The following blogs will go through each year in the 70s to see how this decade had a very real input into the direction of fashion that leads us to today.
